Our humble beginnings

This is where BoardSpace began
Pat purchased this townhouse condo and was thrilled to move into her first home. However, her excitement was short-lived as she soon heard rumours about the condo having numerous problems. The word “few” was an understatement. Pat regretted investing her life’s savings into what seemed like a “lemon.” Eventually, she joined the board and, along with her fellow board members, worked tirelessly to address the condo’s many issues.
It seemed this condo faced every possible challenge known to condominiums: lawsuits, mediation, title insurance subrogated claims, declarant misbehaviour, owner challenges, dog issues, special assessments, new bylaws, special engineering studies, reserve fund studies, fire code violations, overseeing a tender for substantial roofing projects, water & sewage infiltration in basements, and much more.
The “lemon” Condo
Pat even got up on the roofs a few times to check out the roofing project in progress. The contractors were unhappy about this, but fortunately, Pat did not fall off the roof.
